Each live fish order is packed carefully to give the fish the best chance of arriving safely and healthy. We use clean water, pure oxygen, and double bags for extra protection during transit. Fish are placed in an insulated shipping box, with heat packs or cold packs added when needed based on weather conditions. We also use ammonia control when appropriate to help maintain better water quality during shipping. To reduce stress and protect the fish, we do not overpack too many fish into one bag. Our goal is to keep each shipment safe, stable, and comfortable from the time it leaves us until it reaches your door.
